A course with a view worthy of the Kaiser

With a unique panorama and fairways that make the heart of every golfer beat that much harder. The 'Golf European Challenge Tour' was held for the first time at Schwarzsee Golf Club in 2003. It all starts off with a 500 metre long, very selective opening hole. Immediately afterwards you're faced with the most difficult hole on the course - par 4, 420 metres. Unique is the par 3 sixteenth, the so-called 'mousetrap', which can only be reached via a small ravine.

Once back at the clubhouse, you can look forward to the sun terrace with its tremendous views of the Astberg, Rauher Kopf and Wilder Kaiser peaks. Given the irresistible range of culinary delights on offer from the restaurant kitchen, the temptation is simply to linger on and on in the comfortable surroundings. Don't be too surprised if you hear a local player referring to 'hole 20'. What insiders are referring to is the nearby Schwarzsee lake, a wonderful spot for relaxing and sunbathing.

The Kitzbühel Schwarzsee Reith golf course has a fascination all of its own for all players. Located at the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps, surrounded by mountains, forests and meadows, the special attractions of this course are the water obstacles, the flat fairways at holes 1 to 9, and the hilly profiles of holes 10 to 18.

The Kitzbühel Schwarzsee Reith golf course has a fascination all of its own for all players. Golf Academy

The golf professionals teaching in the Kitz-Golf-Academy are Tina Sailer, who manages the academy, John Larrad, Rudi Sailer, Markus Plamoser and Duncan Whitaker. They are all members of the PGA of Austria. 

Pro Shop

A selection of equipment by Callaway, Taylor Made, Wilson, Mizuno, Titleist, Bogner, Chervo, J. Lindeberg, Golfino, Ashworth, Master is stocked at our Pro Shop, which is run by Michael Ober. 

Restaurant

None of these courses require a handicap. When Mike Obermoser and his team serve their creations in the “living room” at GC Kitzbühel Schwarzsee Reith, the non-golfers are equally enthusiastic. And for the golfers, it is just the place to celebrate victory or concede defeat in style. 

Location

The course offers fairways that are every golfer’s dream with unique panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including the Wilder Kaiser, Kitzbühler Horn, Astberg and Rauher Kopf. The course at GC Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith is just 4 km from the center of Kitzbühel.
